Sunergy, Inc. designs, integrates, and installs grid-connected solar electricity generation systems and solar water heating systems in residential and commercial applications. We provide the technology expertise for system component selection to integrate optimally with your home or building’s design and configuration.  We also remotely monitor your energy system’s performance to ensure optimal system operation and to document energy generation and use.Our goal is to become a national leader in designing, integrating and installing innovative and reliable solar energy generation systems for residential and commercial buildings.

Our formation was in response to observing a strong, increasing demand for "green" construction, which includes more energy efficient features and use of renewable energy in homes and buildings. We have experienced first hand requests from homebuyers for solar generation systems to be included in the construction of their homes. In addition, other home builders with whom we are in contact, are asking for advice and assistance in designing, packaging and installing solar energy systems and incorporating energy efficient building techniques in their building projects. As importantly, we have also found through market research that the demand for renewable energy systems and energy-efficient building techniques is even greater within the commercial building sector. Finally, it is apparent that home and building buyers not only want to incorporate renewable energies in their projects, but also are looking to include "intelligent" energy monitoring and management systems that will optimize the use of energy in their buildings.

The opportunity for solar energy is compelling with the U.S. Department of Energy estimating that installation of solar energy in homes in the last decade has grown by about 20% per year. Moreover, the Energy Foundation commissioned a report that projected U.S. market growth of photovoltaic (PV) installations will rise from about $750 million in 2003 to $3.1 billion in 2010; and may be double that if there is a cost break-through in PV cell manufacturing technology and pricing.
